Our History
We are excited to announce that we're approaching our 25th Anniversary!! The original Chase Creek Smokehouse opened in April of 1999. On April 23, 2012 there was a major fire and it was a total loss. The only thing that remains from the original building are the front door handles. The new & improved Chase Creek Smokehouse opened in late October 2013 and is much larger & features a separate bar and patio area.
After COVID, we opened the patio up for food service from mid-May to mid-September. We have 5 wooden tables with umbrellas that we can provide food service to. We attempted to expand that to the whole patio, but there's just too many people for our kitchen to handle (our kitchen is big enough to handle 4 cooks at a time). Customers should check in with the Host to be seated at the outside tables.
Location
We are located along the Pere Marquette Rails-to-Trails. One block south of US10 on Depot Street in Chase, MI. We are approximately 6 miles west of US131 & 11 miles east of Baldwin.
Lake County boasts over 300 miles of trails, which make us a destination for snowmobiles, motorcycles, ORV's, & horseback riders alike.
Patio
